When I first got Bailey nearly 4 years ago, a coworker of mine gave me a DVD on basic dog obedience produced by Leerburg Enterprises. After watching it, I spent hours upon hours on their website reading up on dog training topics. I bought more of their DVDs and love that they are only a stone’s throw away in Wisconsin. In 2012 Bailey was one of the dogs featured on the cover of their Catalog. This year she was one of the finalists in their dog photo contest. Last week, I received an email from Leerburg letting me know the second picture I had submitted for the contest, which didn’t make the finals, would be their cover photo for the 2015 Catalog! With it, Bailey got some new toys, a new outfit (black leather collar), leather leash, a pulling harness designed for sled dogs, but hopefully used behind some rollerblades or a bike (which she has on in the picture) and a couple books on dog nutrition.
Secondly, I will be taking part in the St. Cloud Art Crawl on November 14th. The CapitolOne 360 Café has been kind enough to let me (and a few other artists) in their space for the evening to set up some of my work. In anticipation of the event, I ordered 14 new metal prints to put on display for the evening, which arrived last week and look awesome! If you’re in the area, stop on by and say hey. There’s a chance they may have some hors d’oeuvres, live acoustic music and a little wine.
